Triple M has announced a new nights show across its regional and provincial network, The Greatest with Dave Ferrier, 7pm-10pm weeknights. The first show starts Monday 16 August.

Dave Ferrier is the former anchor of Brisbane’s Big Breakfast with Marto and Margaux and will host his new night show out of Triple M Brisbane studios.  He has also worked as anchor on Hit’s Carrie & Tommy drive show and hosted The Rush Hour on Mix 94.5 in Perth.

The Greatest will be broadcast on Triple M across 38 regional stations across Australia.

SCA head of content – regional, Blair Woodcock,  said: “The Greatest will be just that; the greatest mix of music with a heap of other interactive content. We are excited to have a live nightly show for our regional markets and Dave Ferrier is superb talent who will unite our rock listeners across the country with immersive nightly entertainment.”

Dave Ferrier said: “I can’t wait to play great music and connect with every corner of this glorious continent - from the cane fields of Cairns to the beaches of Busselton, from the homes of Hobart to the… what rhymes with Newcastle? Ah well, you get the point."

The national Danny Lakey Show will continue to be broadcast in metro Triple M markets. Jamie Angel will anchor Big Breakfast with Marto and Margaux.

Earlier this month, Triple M announced they will rock cricket again after Cricket Australia and the FM network finalised a three-year partnership for men’s international cricket in Australia.

Triple M first introduced cricket to commercial FM radio in Australia in 2016/17 and then in 2017/18 which was the last time The Ashes were played here.

The SCA radio network will kick off its coverage with what is shaping up as an epic 2021-22 Vodafone Ashes series from December 8 at The Gabba in Brisbane alongside every Test and One-Day International match.
