TV Guide: Beauty and the Geek on Nine and 9Now

Beauty and the Geek returns to Channel Nine and 9Now Sunday, July 17, at 7.00 pm. The heartwarming series is back for another season, where two worlds collide to see if opposites really do attract, whether by forming a romantic connection or a lifelong friendship. 

Hosted by Sophie Monk, contestants will be paired up in order to find deep connections, overcome hurdles, step out of their comfort zone and find inner confidence. 

Host Sophie Monk said: “I’ve never felt so passionate about a reality show and I’m so excited for the new season to start. This is like no other show I’ve ever seen, and I love being a part of it. Not only does it make you laugh your arse off, it will also make you cry.

“Australia is going to fall in love with our new beauties and geeks, who are the most adorable people in the world. And trust me, there are some major sparks flying around this season. It will be the sweetest thing you’ll ever see.”

Beauty and the Geek is set around various challenges where contestants will be battling it out for one on one dates that will help them form deeper connections and develop better bonds with one another. The bottom two couples will fight it out in an elimination challenge and quiz that could risk them being sent home. The final couple who are voted in by the other contestants will walk away crowned the winners of Beauty and the Geek, as well as with $100,000 in prize money.
