Australia's greatest dinner party My Kitchen Rules is returning to Channel Seven and 7plus at 7:30 pm on Monday, 9 September.

At the head of the table, celebrity chefs Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge team up again – as co-hosts, judges and mates – to search for the best home cooks in the country.

This season Manu and Colin are served some of the best home-cooked meals in the competition’s history as they travel the country to meet and judge Australia’s most passionate home cooks.

Manu will taste “the best dish I’ve ever had on MKR in 14 years” as one team earns the highest score in MKR history.

“My Kitchen Rules is your personality on a plate, and that’s what food is all about,” Colin declares.

Manu adds: “It’s about respecting the ingredients and making delicious food while keeping your cool under pressure.”

Only the best of the best will make it to Kitchen HQ where one team will win $100,000 and be crowned MKR champions.

My Kitchen Rules

2024 MKR teams:

• Rob, 38 & Liam, 37 - Competitive Brothers, Victoria
• Simone, 32 & Viviana, 31 - Modern Italians, Queensland
• Ash, 32 & Cassie, 32 - Young Mums, South Australia
• Danny, 47 & Sonia, 40 - Brother and Sister - Queensland
• Hannah, 31 & Lawrence, 35 - Loved-up Couple - Western Australia
• Mike, 54 & Pete, 48 - Fussy Friends - Western Australia

Last year, identical twins Radha and Prabha were crowned the winners of MKR for 2023, taking the title with a score of 27/30 – with only two points separating them from runners-up Nick and Christian.

Each team had to cook four courses totalling 100 plates of food for the Grand Final, timed against the Kitchen HQ clock to win the championship title and $100,000 prize money.

The twins served up an Indian menu, which paid homage to their late father and grandparents. Nigella said the menu gave her “deep joy”, while Manu said he was “delighted all night long”.

Prabha said: “I’ll never ever forget this moment. I’m literally shaking my knees right now.”
