The biggest golf tournament in the world, The Masters, will be available live and free for Australians on 9Gem and 9Now from Thursday, April 7.

Live coverage begins with the Par 3 contest on Thursday, April 7, before the four-day tournament from Friday, April 8, to Monday, April 11.

9Now will also feature additional content to stream with Feature Groups, Amen Corner and the 15th and 16th holes all available.

Carrying Aussie hopes at Augusta National this year will be Cameron Smith, fresh from winning The Players Championship. He will be joined by 2013 Masters champion Adam Scott, Marc Leishman and debutants Min Woo Lee, Cameron Davis and Lucas Herbert.

The Masters schedule:

Thursday, April 7 5.00am -  LIVE on 9Gem and 9Now
Friday, April 8 5.00am - LIVE on 9Gem and 9Now
Saturday, April 9 5.00am - LIVE on 9Gem and 9Now
Sunday, April 10 5.00am - LIVE on 9Gem and 9Now
Monday April 11 4.00am - LIVE on 9Gem and 9Now

Much hype surrounds the possibility of five-time Masters champion Tiger Woods making a miraculous comeback from injury and playing this year. If he does, he will have to fend off Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas and Bryson DeChambeau amongst other leading contenders to triumph again at Augusta, as he did in 2019.

Brent Williams, Director of Sport at Nine’s Wide World of Sports, said: “The Masters has always been a premium tournament and WWOS is proud to continue our long partnership with Augusta. It transcends golf and is a must-see, worldwide sporting event that continues to engage and captivate viewers every year.

“With a superstar field in place and Cam Smith and former winner Adam Scott leading the Australian contingent, 9Gem and 9Now will be the only place to watch The Masters live and free, with additional streams available on 9Now.”
