TV Guide: Tim Tszyu Vs Dennis Hogan on Foxtel and Kayo

The biggest name in Australian boxing and Australia’s number one boxer Tim Tszyu will take on Brisbane-based Irishman and former two-time world title challenger Dennis “Hurricane” Hogan in a ‘Steel City Showdown’ fight on Wednesday, March 31 at Newcastle’s Entertainment Centre.

Boxing fans will have better access to all of the action than ever before, with Main Event showcasing the fight on Foxtel and Kayo.

Coming off a spectacular first round knockout win over Bowyn Morgan in December, Tszyu is now ranked inside the top 10 with all major sanctioning bodies. Tszyu steps into the ring with an undefeated record of 17 wins and will be looking to take down Hogan as he edges his way closer to a world title fight.

Hogan on the other hand represents a big challenge for Tszyu having fought a vast majority of his career at super-welterweight, however he most recently stepped up to take on WBC middleweight champion Jermall Charlo in December 2019.

Tszyu's WBO global super welterweight title is up for grabs, but the real prize on offer for the winner of this fight would be the chance to go up against the current WBO champion, Argentine Brian Castaño.

Tszyu and Hogan are scheduled to begin their ring walks at about 10:30pm.
