Total TV Ratings, April 15

ABC’s Gardening Australia claimed the top spot for the most-watched non-news program on total TV, reaching a total audience of 621,000, increasing by 20%.

Nine’s Fright Night NRL coverage took out the second spot with 531,000 and a lift of 9%.

Smother on ABC experienced the highest lift on overnight with 39%, reaching a total TV audience of 324,000

Overnight TV Ratings, April 23

Seven topped the network shares with 32.2%, taking the lead on Nine with 29.6%. Seven also won the night with a primary share of 22.4%, followed by Nine with 19.8%, then ABC with 8.9%.

The Chase Australia on Seven was the most-watched non-news program of the night with 498,000 viewers. Seven’s AFL: Friday Night Football closely followed, with 419,000 viewers tuning in to watch The Giants go head-to-head with The Saints at Manuka Oval. St Kilda took the win with 10.17(77) to 8.12(60), making it their fifth consecutive win of the season.

Nine’s Friday Night NRL coverage reached an audience of 318,000, with 182,000 of those tuning in from Sydney to watch the Broncos take on the Bulldogs at Suncorp Stadium, winning 34 -14.

Hot Seat was Nine’s most-watched entertainment program, clocking 378,000 views.

ABC’s top entertainment program was Gardening Australia bringing in an audience of 347,000.

10 aired an episode of The Living Room, where Miguel helped bring a surprise proposal to life. Episode three of the second season reached an audience of 248,000, an increase from the week before.

The top non-news program on SBS was Britain's Secret Islands, with 124,000 viewers.

STV

Fox Footy’s coverage of the GWS v St Kilda game was the most-watched program on subscription TV, reaching an audience of 249,000.

The Broncos v Bulldogs match on Fox League clocked 238,000 views, followed by Fox Footy’s Friday Footy on Fox with 147,000 people tuning in.

Over on Fox Sports 506, the first practice for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix reached 46,000 viewers.
