TV Ratings February 26, 2022: Seven #1 as Death in Paradise is top entertainment

Total TV Tonight, February 19

Death in Paradise was the top non-news program in the total TV ratings, with the ABC program beginning in 999,000 viewers, an increase of 21%.

The #2 non-news program was also on the ABC with All Creature Great and Small bringing in 789,000 viewers, an increase of 30%.

Space Invaders was the top non-news program on Nine with 538,000 viewers, up 18%.

The Winter Olympics led the way for Seven with the evening session being the event's top segment with 682,000 viewers.

Overnight TV ratings February 26

Seven was the top primary channel (20.%) and network (28.2%) last night thanks to a combination of Seven News (884,000), Border Security- Australia's Front Line (480,000), and the classic film Raiders of the Lost Ark (311,000).

On Nine, A Current Affair had 553,000 as Deborah Knight spoke to Kyiv local and mother-of-two, Anna Andrusyk. Space Invaders then followed with 383,000 viewers.

On 10, the A-League had 79,000 viewers for its match between Sydney FC and Melbourne City from Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.

ABC had the top entertainment program for the night with Death in Paradise which had 599,000 viewers. All Creatures Great and Small then had 436,000 viewers.

Sheldon Riley

The top program on SBS was Eurovision - Australia Decides which had 141,000 for the songs, 171,000 for the votes, and 189,000 for the winner's announcement. Sheldon Riley was chosen as the winner and will be representing Australia at Eurovision. 

STV

The NRL pre-season continued last night as the Charity Shield match between the St George-Illawarra Dragons and South Sydney Rabbitohs was the top STV program of the night with 194,000 viewers. The two other pre-season games also performed well for Fox League with the Penrith Panthers taking on the Parramatta Eels having 150,000 viewers, and the North Queensland Cowboys playing the Brisbane Broncos producing 126,000 viewers.

The AFLW also performed well for Foxtel with Fremantle playing Adelaide and Melbourne taking on North Melbourne having 34,000 and 33,000 viewers each respectively.
