Once again, Nine has won the night with a primary share of 26.1% and a network share of 32.6%. 7Two has won multichannels with a 3.8% share.

Nine’s A Current Affair took a look at look at the inspirational Lismore locals who became flood rescue heroes, with 712,000 watching as the show investigated the biggest problem with Australia's growth in electric car owners — the lengthy wait periods to charge their vehicles. 885,000 tuned in to Married at First Sight, watching as Harrison was once again a hot topic after his emotional couch performance, and Dan and Sandy took things to the next level in their relationship, however, hit a major snag in the aftermath. Sandy was confused by her husband's change of heart while Cam bought Lyndall flowers — even though she was more concerned by Claire forcing Jesse to stay in the experiment.

496,000 began their evening in Summer Bay with Seven's Home and Away, before 422,000 watched as Jasey and Maya were eliminated from Australian Idol, revealing the Top 10. The night also saw Meghan Trainor perform her viral TikTok sensation Made You Look

On 10, The Project (169,000 6:30pm / 278,000 7pm) welcomed Pete Helliar back to the desk and the panel discussed the Labor government's plan to change superannuation. Then, on Australian Survivor, 474,000 watched Merge Night as the former Villains tribe plotted to take down a huge player, with their master plan paying off, sending David packing.

486,000 watched ABC's 7.30 explore the cost of living crisis and experts sounded the alarm over ChatGP, warning the chatbot could make cheating easier. 464,000 then tuned in for Australian Story, which detailed Aussie Saul Griffith whose ideas caught the eye of the US President.

The highest rating non-news show on SBS was Monster: The Mystery of Loch Ness, with 95,000 watching as recent eyewitness footage of the Loch Ness Monster shows that we are still as obsessed today as ever with the existence of the beast.
