TV Ratings July 2, 2022: Nine claims a Saturday win with Rugby coverage

• For the first time since 2016, England took on the Wallabies on home turf

Total TV Ratings, June 25

ABC’s The Good Karma Hospital topped the total TV ratings for non-news programs, bringing in 666,000 viewers and increasing by 20%.

ABC also claimed the second top spot with The Split, which had the biggest lift on overnight, pulling in 608,000 viewers and rising by an impressive 60%.

Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears on ABC also had a large overnight increase of 58% to reach 249,000 views.

Nine won the night with a network share of 31.8% and a primary share of 19.1%. 9Gem took out the multichannel win with 6.7%, while Seven had a network share of 29.2%.

For the first time since 2016, England took on the Wallabies on home turf on Nine's Rugby: 2022 Wallabies v England coverage. 412,000 people tuned in to watch The Wallabies take a 30-28 win over England in match one. The pre-match pulled in an audience of 291,000, while the post-match reached 239,000 viewers.

Seven’s Saturday Night AFL clocked 291,000 views as Collingwood beat Gold Coast 9.13 (67) to 8.14 (62). 174,000 people tuned in from Melbourne to watch Collingwood extend their winning streak to six games.

The second top non-news program of the night goes to ABC’s The Good Karma Hospital which brought in an audience of 343,000, while The Split reached an audience of 236,000.

10’s top entertainment program was a repeat of The Dog House, which reached 204,000 people.

The top non-news program on SBS was The World's Most Scenic Railway Journeys, clocking 135,000 views.

Fox League claimed the top three spots on subscription TV. Coming first was its coverage of Cowboys v Broncos, which saw the Cowboys win 40 - 26 and reach 296,000 people. 

NRL Super Saturday came second with 280,000 views, while the Rabbitohs v Eels coverage reached 262,000 people.

On Fox Footy, the match between Adelaide and Melbourne brought in 199,000 views.
