Success at the start of the week used to be measured in shares over 30% for the primary channel. However, the growth of multichannels means 20%+ is now a win. Some people rely more on the combined channel share as a guide to success.

Nine had a good run of Monday success starting with Ninja Warrior Australia and then continuing right through The Block. The Ninja Warrior Mondays and the launch of The Block brought primary shares close to 27% for Nine.

My Kitchen Rules is the gift that keeps on giving for Seven with a 29.3% in Easter, while in survey it delivered a 26.3% at the end of March. Nine's Married At First Sight cut into the MKR Monday ratings more this year than previously.

TEN's MasterChef was the key to its best Monday performances across the year.

Sunrise v Today

In the metro markets Sunrise pushed above 300,000 to 312,000 for the first of its birthday week shows from Sydney Harbour.

Today was back on 259,000.
