Total TV Ratings, October 7

A Current Affair on Nine was the top program on total TV, increasing by 5% to reach a total audience of 784,000. 

Gardening Australia on ABC enjoyed a lift of 16% to reach 659,000 people, while Better Homes and Gardens on Seven rose 5% for a 659,000 viewer reach.

Frankly on ABC had the highest lift on overnight with 18% to reach an audience of 305,000.

Overnight TV Ratings, October 14

Seven enjoyed a Friday night win with a 30.7% network share, 21.1% primary share and 7TWO multichannel share with 3.8%.

A Current Affair on Nine claimed the top spot for the night after the primetime news programs, clocking 494,000 views. The program met with residents of a Melbourne retirement village who have been forced to evacuate as a flood unfolded across Victoria. Later in the night, the network aired Taronga: Who's Who in the Zoo with 270,000 views.

Seven's The Chase was Friday's top entertainment program bringing in 493,000 viewers, followed by Better Homes and Gardens with 387,000 views. On Better Homes and Gardens, Dr Harry tried to cure a howling dog, while Joh headed to Gippsland to meet Luana and the people involved with All Abilities Netball.

On ABC, Gardening Australia reached 371,000 viewers as Costa met up with a turf technician and Jane visited a production nursery. Later in the night, Fran Kelly's new chat show Frankly clocked 218,000 views.

On 10, The Living Room saw residents of a Melbourne retirement village forced to evacuate as a flood unfolded across Victoria.  bringing in 240,000 views.

Secrets of the Lost Liners was the most-watched program on SBS, with 115,000 views.

STV

Fox Cricket claimed the top three spots on subscription TV with its T20 cricket coverage. In game three, Australia went head-to-head with England, pulling in 95,000 views. In addition, the Live Innings Break reached 110,000 views, while the post-game coverage reached 54,000 views.

On Sky News Live, Credlin reached 38,000.
