TV Ratings Wednesday 27 August 2025: Seven’s AFL lifts midweek reach

Nine’s 9News led total people (1.346m), while The Block topped 25–54 and 16–39 with strong BVOD (198k). Seven’s midweek AFL boosted reach, but Nine dominated across news and Grocery Shoppers 18+.

Total People TV Ratings

Nine's 9News recorded a total TV national reach of 2,126,000, a total TV national audience of 1,346,000 and a BVOD audience of 143,000.

Seven's Seven News recorded a total TV national reach of 2,087,000, a total TV national audience of 1,336,000 and a BVOD audience of 110,000.

Nine's The Block recorded a total TV national reach of 2,018,000, a total TV national audience of 1,093,000 and a BVOD audience of 198,000.

Seven's AFL: Wednesday Night Football recorded a total TV national reach of 1,864,000, a total TV national audience of 439,000 and a BVOD audience of 32,000.

Nine's A Current Affair recorded a total TV national reach of 1,685,000, a total TV national audience of 1,046,000 and a BVOD audience of 118,000.
