Share summary

Nine won Sunday night with a primary share of 22.7% and a network share of 33.6%.

9Gem has won multi-channels with a 5.9% share.

Seven received a primary share of 17% and a network share of 27.2%.

10 took a 9.2% primary share and a network share of 14.3%.

410,000 / 441,000 watched night one of Nine’s Australian Open.

Novak Djokovic (SRB) played 18-year-old Dino Prizmic (CRO) in an epic four-hour and one-minute game. The match was the longest first round of Djokovic’s career, finishing 6-2, 6-7, 6-3, 6-4.

Aryna Sabalenka (BEL) took on Ella Seidel (GER), with defending champ Sabalenka finishing 6-0 6-1.

276,000 began their evening with Seven’s Big Bash. The Thunder took on the Strikers at Manuka Oval. The Strikers won by nine wickets with 23 balls left, finishing 141/1 (16.1) to 140 (19.2).

ABC

534,000 watched ABC’s Muster Dogs. In Goondy Creek NSW, we met Debbie and Snip, the mother and father of the brand-new litter of Muster Dog pups. 

278,000 then watched the season premiere of Total Control. It's been two years since Alex Irving anointed Paul Murphy as Australia's first Aboriginal Prime Minister. 

117,000 also saw Best Interests.

On 10, viewers tuned in to The Sunday Project (192,000 7.00 pm) as the panel welcomed Teresa Page via satellite. Page, a.k.a the 'Princess Whisperer', taught the now Queen Mary Donaldson how to walk, talk and embrace the spotlight after meeting King Frederik X in 2000.

Viewers also sat down for an action-packed night with Tom Cruise as 232,000 tuned in to Top Gun: Maverick before 102,000 watched Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation.

Over on SBS, 67,000 tuned in to see Asia's Ancient Civilisations as host Peter visited the Ryukyu Archipelago. 

Tutankhamun: Secrets of the Toxic Tomb then followed for 65,000.

349,000 watched Nine’s United Cup, up 10%.

334,000 caught ABC’s Strictly Ballroom, up 4%.

306,000 tuned in to 10's The Lost City, up 6%.
