Seven’s coverage of the Matildas V Sweden match saw 3,394,000 tune-in, lifting by 14%.

The biggest jump in commercial primetime viewing goes to ABC’s Bay of Fires, where the Total TV audience grew by 93% to reach 230,000 viewers. 

Overnight TV Ratings, August 26

Seven enjoyed a Saturday night win in both the network and primary channel shares with 23.4% and 34.7%, respectively. 7mate won the multichannels with 6%.

Seven’s Saturday Night AFL saw the Bulldogs take a 104–79 point victory over Geelong as 397,000 tuned in to watch the match. In entertainment, Border Security – Australia’s Front Line reached 210,000 as officers discovered unusual lining in a passenger's suitcase that set alarm bells ringing. 

Nine’s airing of Getaway had 293,000 as the team set off on a cruise along Japan's west coast. The Raiders v Broncos match saw 233,000 tune in on Nine as the Broncos smashed with 29-18. 212,000 tuned in to A Current Affair as the program met a man who turns into a superhero to help kids with cancer.

On the ABC, Grantchester was viewed by 341,000 as Will investigated a suicide that may have been a murder. Vera saw 298,000 as Vera investigated the death of a passenger on a busy Newcastle train.

10 aired The Dog House Australia to 141,000 as the program met a sassy staffy who was looking for a new home.

SBS aired Queen Victoria's Royal Mob to 77,000.

On Fox League, the Broncos beat the Raiders 29-18 in front of 237,000, while the Roosters smashed the Tigers 32-8 in front of 192,000. The Storm also beat the Titans 37-16 as 155,000 tuned in. 

Fox Footy’s top game was Brisbane V St Kilda, which saw Brisbane dominate by 12 points in front of 156,000. Geelong V Western Bulldogs clocked 134,000 as the Bulldogs won by 25 points in Geelong.
