ABC’s Vera topped entertainment on Total TV with 727,000 growing by 21%.

ABC’s Peppa Pig saw a growth of 312% for a total audience of 214,000.

Overnight TV Ratings, December 2

Nine enjoyed a Saturday night win in the network shares with 18% while Seven won in the primary channel shares with 29.2%. 7Mate won the multichannels with 6%.

Seven’s airing of Border Security – Australia’s Front Line saw 181,000 tune in as officers body searched a passenger and found something hidden, but the concealment attempt went horribly wrong. Seven also aired the WBBL Final with the Adelaide Strikers winning by 3 runs against the Brisbane Heat. 170,000 tuned in.

Nine’s airing of Getaway saw 223,000 tune in as the program featured guest presenter Lizzy Hoo who took viewers on a cruise through the south of France. Nine also aired the Christmas classic, The Santa Clause to 236,000.

On the ABC, Vera saw 393,000 viewers as Vera investigated the murder of a homeless man as she had to piece together the life of a forgotten man in order to get to the cause of his death. All Creatures Great and Small saw 352,000 tune in as Tristan learnt a valuable lesson about taking responsibility through helping a dog in an emergency.

10 aired the Matildas v Canada match, the Australian Women's team's last international friendly for 2023. Canada won 5-0 and 166,000 tuned in.

SBS aired Britain’s Most Luxurious Train Journeys to 117,000. 

STV

The WBBL Final topped STV for Saturday with 79,000 tuning in on FOX Cricket. The Adelaide Strikers won by 3 runs against the Brisbane Heat.
