Total TV Ratings, August 26

ABC's Grantchester topped Total TV with a growth of 636,000 lifting by 25%.

The biggest jump in commercial primetime viewing goes to ABC’s Bay of Fires, where the Total TV audience grew by 76% to reach 204,000 viewers. 

Overnight TV Ratings, September 2

Nine enjoyed a Saturday night win in both the network and primary channel shares with 21.8% and 31.9%, respectively. GO! won the multichannels with 3.4%.

Seven’s Saturday Night AFL took a week off in preparation for Finals Week 1 next week. In entertainment, Border Security – Australia’s Front Line reached 262,000 as officers worked with Victoria Police to stop a criminal syndicate bringing in millions of cigarettes illegally. Seven also aired Ghostbusters: Afterlife to 208,000.

Nine’s airing of Getaway had 320,000 as the team continued their cruise along Japan’s west coast. The Dragons v Knights match saw 206,000 tune in on Nine as the Knights smashed with 32-12. 267,000 tuned in to A Current Affair as the program met with a retiring handyman who claims a tenant left his rental property in ruins.

On the ABC, Grantchester was viewed by 381,000 as Geordie became aware something was very wrong with Will. Vera saw 349,000 as Vera investigated the death of a man at a beach in Whitley Bay.

10 aired a repeat of Thank God You're Here to 110,000 as Hamish Blake joined the show to step through the blue door. 

SBS aired Queen Victoria’s Royal Mob to 79,000.

On Fox League, the Panthers beat the Cowboys 44-12 in front of 224,000, while the Knights smashed the Dragons 32-12 in front of 183,000. The Dolphins also upsetted the Warriors 34-10 at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane with 136,000 tuning in
