The three finalists in the business category of the Walkley Awards for Excellence in Journalism were announced yesterday in Sydney.

The 2017 finalists are:

Neil Chenoweth, David Marin-Guzman and Les Hewitt, Australian Financial Review, “Plutus: The Gen Y crime wave”
Adele Ferguson and Mario Christodoulou, The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald, “The Domino’s Pizza Exposé”
Leo Shanahan, Sky News Business, “Budget Bank Levy Exclusive”

The judges for the 2017 Walkley Business Journalism Award were:

Chris Pash, business editor, Business Insider
Whitney Fitzsimmons, executive producer, Small Business Secrets, SBS
Mike Osborne, editor, AAP
