The WARC Awards for Asia Pacific 2024, in association with LIONS, has named four Australian senior executives among the judges named on the jury.

The awards celebrate marketing, strategy and effective impact and will be judged by the industry's experts from leading agencies and renowned global and local brands.

John Bizzell, awards lead of WARC, noted that awards have assembled a "stellar group of extremely knowledgeable and highly respected professionals from across the region to bring expertise and cultural insight to the judging process."

Leading as jury chair on the Brand Purpose, Business-to-Business, Cultural Impact, Customer Experience, Instant Impact, Long-term Growth categories is Dean Chadwick, chief marketing officer of MYOB, Australia.

Chadwick brings over 25 years of experience in digital leadership roles, and, before joining MYOB in 2023, was the chief customer officer at THE ICONIC, where he led both Product and Marketing for ANZ’s leading fashion & lifestyle e-commerce platform.

Joining Chadwick on the judging panel is TBWA Australia's CEO Kimberlee Wells, who came in at number five on Mediaweek's inaugural Creative Agency 50 list

Zenith Media Australia's national head of Digital and Data, Joshua Lee, will take part in judging the Channel Integration, Channel Pioneer, Partnerships and Sponsorships, Path to Purchase, and Use of Data categories. He has 15 years of digital agency-side experience and was an Ad Tech Category Finalist for Mediaweek 2023 Next of the Best Awards.

Nomfundo Msomi, CHEP Network Australia's executive strategy director, will judge in the new Strategic Thinking category. Msomi is an alumna of the prestigious WPP Fellowship, which has fostered high-calibre talent through multidisciplinary experience at WPP operating companies across the globe.

The juries will award Gold, Silver and Bronze accolades across the 12 categories. They will be guided by the frameworks of the WARC/LIONS Creative Effectiveness and B2B Effectiveness Ladders, which provide a consistent and universal benchmark.

The jury chairs of all the regional awards - Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Latin America, and North America - will form a super jury to award the highly sought after Grands Prix, the ultimate recognition of marketing success, selected from all the regional Golds.
