• AFL outrates the NRL plus The Living Room, Gardening Australia, and Vera
Last night Seven's AFL coverage of Port Adelaide v Richmond (National: 789,000) managed to outstrip Nine's broadcast of Canberra v Penrith in the NRL (National: 562,000).
Port Adelaide took home the choccies in a close win over Richmond (79-77), while Penrith easily handled Canberra (30-10).
The AFL dominated Melbourne (287,000 - #1), Adelaide (138,000 - #1), and Perth (85,000 - #1 non-news) while the NRL took home Sydney (213,000) and Brisbane (108,000) as the top non-news program.
The ABC once again put out their popular combo of Gardening Australia (419,000) followed by a repeat of Vera (365,000)
On 10, The Living Room had 259,000 tuned in as the show met a family full of singers and improvisors.
