Foxtel has announced HBO has confirmed second seasons of its hit 2016 debut fantasy drama series Westworld, and comedies Divorce and Insecure – all which screen exclusively on Foxtel’s showcase.

Westworld stars Anthony Hopkins, Evan Rachel Wood and James Marsden along with Australia’s Luke Hemsworth and has been a ratings hit for both HBO and Foxtel.

HBO’s president of programming Casey Bloys said: “While Game of Thrones is closing in on its final 13 episodes, which will be spread out over two seasons, Westworld represents a really, really great building block. All three [new series] have done exactly what I’d hoped in terms of connecting with audiences and raising the questions the creators set out to raise.”

The comedy series Insecure and Sarah Jessica Parker’s Divorce have also been renewed with second seasons due to air in 2017.
