Former M&C Saatchi group creative director Andy Flemming has been promoted to a permanent role with 72andSunny as creative lead.

Flemming has worked with 72andSunny for close to a year, working on a number of campaigns, including Google's 'Helping You Help Them' campaign and the ilume stop-motion film ‘Stay.'

Flemming said, “The 72 crew is full of ridiculous talent from world-class places such as BBH London, Apple, Facebook, Wieden & Kennedy and Droga5, New York. And the standard of the work reflects this.

"Everyone just gets on, there’s no politics and the work is the singular focus. And the chance to get to work again with the incomparable Gen Hoey was too good to pass up.”

Luke Martin, ECD at 72andSunny, added: “Based on how our business and industry is evolving, it was super important for us to have a writer that is as skilled and experienced as Andy on our team.

"His ability to move fast while maintaining the highest level of craft is mind bending. Andy is one of the best, and to have him on the team to help tackle our clients’ biggest problems is very exciting”.

During his time at M&C Saatchi, Flemming worked on a number of campaigns including, ‘Can Kids’ for CommBank, ‘Ricky Gervais’ and ‘Idris Elba’ for Optus and ‘MateSong’ for Tourism Australia.
