Former Google marketer Ben Drew has launched Chicken Dinner, a growth marketing agency aimed at delivering measurable business results.

Drew founded the agency after four years as Growth Manager for Google’s high-growth client portfolio, where he identified a gap in the market for hands-on, senior-led performance marketing. He previously founded and scaled Seasons into one of Western Australia’s largest festival brands.

He is joined by Growth Manager Maggie Roberts, a search engine specialist who previously ran her own performance marketing agency.

“We know the challenges the industry faces - businesses are simply sick to death of safe, low-risk marketing, served up by junior talent they’ve never even met. So I started Chicken Dinner to offer a better path forward," Drew said.

Chicken Dinner has already secured clients in Australia, the US, and the UK, including Deel, STAX, and Duo Tax, and has further expansion plans underway.

The agency operates with a lean senior team structure, with all staff directly involved in client work. AI and automation are used to streamline operations and focus on strategy.

“Automation isn’t here to replace human connection - it’s here to amplify it."

“When our team spends less time clicking buttons, they’re free to invest more in connecting to clients and their businesses," he added.

Recent client results include scaling Duo Tax’s Google Ads by more than 235% in five months, reducing cost per acquisition by 24%, and quadrupling revenue.

In the US, Chicken Dinner restructured finance platform PingYo’s Google Ads program, increasing profits 4.6x and moving the brand from outside the industry’s top 10 to number two in market share.
