Media industry digs deep for Pat Crowley and his family as they fight health battles

The media industry is digging deep for Pat Crowley as his family faces health struggles.

A GoFundMe page has been set up on behalf of the former EssenceMediacom CEO and his wife Nicky, who are parents to two teenage sons Fletcher and Levi.

Fletcher, an avid mountain biker, skier, and skater, was in an accident earlier this month that left him with a severe spinal cord injury

Meanwhile, the couple's eldest son Levi, was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called VHL (Von Hippel-Lindau) that requires regular medical intervention and treatment. 

The page read: "To have two kids facing such immense challenges requires a special kind of fortitude. The words ‘shit-show’ have been mentioned a few times by the Crowleys and you can’t help but think that’s exactly how it must feel for this beautiful family.

"Yet, this family's strength and resilience are nothing short of inspiring. Fletcher's accident has added a new layer of complexity, with the need for significant home modifications, along with ongoing medical support."

Contributions to the GoFundMe will go into making the necessary modifications around the home and a modified vehicle to help with Fletcher's independence, and to assist with covering the mounting medical bills and ongoing treatments for Fletcher and Levi. The money will also go towards advancing medical research and clinical trials.

"Fletcher and Levi are fighters. They have both shown such incredible grace for people so young. Right now, what they need, is real support from all of us," the page reads.

"The best and most tangible way is to help cover the mountain of costs this family now faces."

The campaign is aiming for $500,000 and has so far raised $117,929 as of writing. Click here to donate.
