Authentic Entertainment has today announced the appointment of Greg Tremain to the newly created role of commercial director as the company experiences increasing demands from brands to align with its portfolio of radio and digital properties.

In the role, Tremain will be responsible for overseeing Authentic's national sales operation and brand partnerships, as well as managing the business' various media content assets, including Vevo and Take 40. He is also charged with developing brand partnerships and sourcing new revenue streams, in addition to evolving Authentic's recent strategic alliance with world-renowned entertainment marketing agency FRUKT.

Having most recently held the role of Head of Brand Partnerships, his new appointment comes off the back of the hugely successful return of legendary music program Live at the Chapel in partnership with Samsung MILK combined with unprecedented growth of the brand partnerships division. Prior to this, Greg developed a number of content-led initiatives in the music and entertainment space for multiple Authentic Entertainment clients including award-winning initiatives for Telstra and Federal Government.

John Wardley, Authentic Entertainment CEO, said: "Greg has been with the business for the past 10 years and has a deep knowledge of our business which made him the best candidate for this new role. Brand partnerships are having a growing impact on the business and I am confident we can drive them forward in the coming months with Greg at the helm."

The head of brand partnerships position will be filled by Luke Cook, who has been tasked with building momentum within the new division with a commitment to delivering more compelling solutions with clients looking to operate in the music and entertainment space. He moves into his new role after successfully heading up Authentic's NSW sales operation since October 2007.
