oOh!media chief executive officer Brendon Cook was honoured last week with Australia’s most prestigious individual marketing award at the 2016 ADMA Australian Creativity & Effectiveness (AC&E) Awards ceremony in Sydney.

Cook was named ADMA Marketer of the Year, an annual accolade awarded to “the most effective, most influential, most driven and prominent individual in the advertising, media, marketing and tech world”.

The founder of oOh! in 1989, Cook has transformed oOh! from a traditional out-of-home advertising business into a new data-driven, audience-led digital media company with content and publishing capabilities.

Jodie Sangster, CEO of the Association for Data-Driven Marketing and Advertising (ADMA), said Cook was named Marketer of the Year for his exceptional contribution to the Australian marketing media and advertising industry.

“Brendon has evolved oOh! from a billboard representation company into Australia’s largest out-of-home company,” Sangster said.
