Amy Weston has been promoted to the role of executive creative director at CHEP Network, joining the national creative leadership team.

Weston has been part of CHEP for the past seven years and, prior to that, was part of Clemenger Group since 2007 with roles at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne and Adelaide. She has been promoted from the role of creative director.

CHEP's deputy chief creative officer, Glen Dickson, said of Weston's promotion: “Amy is a truly creative person. And a natural creative leader. She’ll do amazing things in her new role at CHEP – for our clients, our people and our work."

The newly appointed ECD has worked with clients including 7-Eleven, AGL, Mazda, TAC, Pernod Ricard, RACV and more.

Weston was also responsible for the recent Coffee Body Scrub by 7-Eleven, also turned t-shirts into road safety tools with RACV’s Booster Tag, and made young drivers fear social death more than actual death in MAC’s Lose your License.

Weston's work has been recognised at a host of local and international award shows including Cannes, One Show, Clios and AWARD.

The new ECD also recently joined The Aunties’ senior mentorship program, using her experience and expertise to help support the next generation of female leaders.

Weston said of her promotion: “It’s a pleasure to be recognised in this role and I’m excited to continue making world-class work with all the clever people at CHEP.

Weston's promotion comes after CHEP Network welcomed Lilian Sor as chief strategy officer last month. In the role, she will oversee the strategy and planning function across the network.

Sor brings with her a wealth of experience, having spent time in strategic marketing functions client-side, digital and CX focused roles, in addition to leading the strategy functions at a host of leading agencies locally and abroad, including AMV BBDO, Grey London and Clemenger BBDO.
