Jungle Entertainment has added a feature film division as it expands on its suite of television comedy and drama productions.

The Sydney based production company has recently produced several international productions that have aired in the US such as No Activity (CBSAA), Mr Inbetween (FX) and A Moody Christmas (Fox).

Jason Burrows, CEO of Jungle Entertainment said: “We’ve proven ourselves as a nimble innovator in the international television space and while the film industry is tougher than ever, we believe there are big opportunities to bring Australian stories to new international audiences.”

Jungle has appointed award winning screen producer Bridget Callow-Wright as a Development Executive to assist in developing their features slate, who was formerly the Senior Development Executive at Cowlick Entertainment.

Callow-Wright has produced a number of films under her independent production banner Midwinter Films (which she will retain) and has premiered them at top tier film festivals.

Jungle’s first feature film in conjunction with Midwinter Films will be the science fiction comedy film Croak. Which was written by Shane Brady and co-writer Priscilla Cameron and will be directed by the Van Vuuren Bros with Bridget Callow-Wright and Jungle's COO, Chloe Rickard, producing. The film is about a gang of teenagers who discover that their biology teacher is harbouring a dark secret that is about to unleash death and destruction.
