ASTRA Conference 2015 program revealed

One week until ASTRA Conference and full schedule released: Keynotes, lunch, sessions

With just one week to go until the 2015 conference, ASTRA has released the full conference program for the event being held at the Star Event Centre on Wednesday September 9.

The annual Women in Television breakfast starts the day with the first conference session commencing at 9.45am which will be a keynote address from Hernan Lopez from Fox International Channels.

There will then be three more keynote addresses to complete the morning session:

Robert Bakish from Viacom International Media Networks will speak on how the media giant is changing

Foxtel's Richard Freudenstein will look back at 20 years of subscription TV in Australia

Turner Broadcasting's Christina Miller will examine how her company is co-opting industry change

During the lunchtime break there will be a panel talking about the return of A Place To Call Home moderated by Simon Burke and featuring Seven's Julie McGauran, Foxtel's Penny Win and actor Marta Dusseldorp.

There will then be a further two keynotes in the afternoon from the BBC's Dr Mike Gunton and NBN chief executive Bill Morrow.

The day will end with sessions looking at production funding, SVOD, public policy and a must-see session on audience measurement featuring OzTAM's Doug Peiffer, MCN's Murray Love and Nielsen's Monique Perry which will be moderated by Sky New Business anchor Ingrid Willinge.
