In a bid to provide auto content to a female audience and increase appeal for advertisers, Robyn Foyster's The Carousel has joined forces with indie car advice site CarAdvice.com.au in a syndicated content deal.

CarAdvice, which has recently developed stand-alone website BoatAdvice.com.au, will provide expertise through targeted written and video content for The Carousel’s female focused audience. The Carousel will incorporate an automotive section to its new website, powered by CarAdvice content. The collaborative content will start to appear over the coming weeks.

“Women drive cars, buy cars, and love cars – and CarAdvice.com.au is the go-to car advice site in Australia. This partnership gives The Carousel the opportunity to expand content into cars but with a female/fashion spin on it. We believe the automotive advertising industry will be extremely attracted by our joint proposition,” said Robyn Foyster, CEO, Foyster Media.

“We’re pleased to expand our automotive audience amongst females given they influence up to 70% of car purchase decisions, but aren’t currently very well served editorially.  The Carousel readers can rest assured that we’ll retain our focus on authentic, quality content for a real car buying audience, which in this case happens to be female. Our goal is to be relevant, informative and hopefully just a little bit entertaining,” said Andrew Beecher, CEO of CarAdvice.
