TV Guide: Home and Away 2024 on Seven and 7Plus

After 2023's feature-length season finale, Home and Away returns on January 8 for an all-new season. 

The new season of Home and Away premieres on January 8 at 7:00 pm on Seven and 7plus. 

Home and Away's season premiere picks up right where last season's cliffhanger left off: with Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) desperately searching for his missing girlfriend Eden (Stephanie Panozzo). 

Having been whisked away in a camping trip at Crystal Gorge, Eden Fowler was last seen in the final moments of the season closer, sneaking into the bush to go to the bathroom. When sneaking, she stumbled across two men digging a hole in the middle of the night. Caught off guard, she was knocked unconscious and bundled into an unknown car. 

As the men sped off, Eden came to in the boot of the car and was shocked to find herself face to face with the lifeless body of her best friend, Remi (Adam Rowland).

In the 2024 season premiere, Cash calls in the SES, as well as his sister Felicity (Jacqui Purvis), to help scour the remote bushland for any sign of Eden. But the search party are completely unaware Eden is being held captive in the middle of nowhere at the mercy of the same men who left her best friend for dead. 

Summer Bay will also host a special event this week, as Xander (Luke Van Os) rallies Mackenzie's (Emily Weir) friends and family to attend Salt's fundraiser event: Salt by the Sea. As the community gather for lunch by the beach in support of SCAD research (Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection: the heart condition Mackensize has been diagnosed with), Mackenzie feels a growing connection with cardiothoracic surgeon, Dr Levi Fowler (Tristan Gorey).

Seven has promised that the new year of Home and Away will offer new drama, fresh faces and more cliffhanger moments on the shores of Summer Bay.
