Nick Kyrgios will be up against Novak Djokovic in the men's Wimbledon final tonight from 11 pm AEST on Channel Nine.

Kyrgios’ path to the final was secured when Rafael Nadal pulled out of their semi-final clash due to an abdominal injury.

Six-time champion Djokovic reached his eighth final at the All England Club, and a record 32nd in men’s Slams, by seeing off Cameron Norrie 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 in Friday’s semi-final.

Despite playing in his first final at the majors, Kyrgios boasts a 2-0 edge over the former world number one.

“One thing is for sure — there is going to be a lot of fireworks, emotionally, from both of us,” Djokovic said about Kyrgios. “He doesn’t have much to lose, and he’s always playing like that. He’s playing so freely.”

Kyrgios said Friday, “I’ve never been here before, so that’s where Djokovic has the advantage from the get-go.

“He can draw from experience. He’s done it so many more times. He knows the emotions he’s going to be feeling. I don’t know that.”
