Bush Summit

The Daily Telegraph’s fourth annual Bush Summit will bring attention to the issues and opportunities facing rural and regional Australia.

The summit brings together Australia’s thought leaders to discuss solutions to problems facing the regional agriculture and business industries.

With the goal to secure prosperity in regional New South Wales, The Daily Telegraph editor Ben English said: “In just four years, The Daily Telegraph Bush Summit has become a compulsory event on the calendar for anyone with a stake in rural and regional Australia.”

"We are very proud that the Bush Summit has brought about lasting and profound reforms that have bettered the lives of people in the country," he added.

The event will be held in Griffith, NSW, which English described as "the heart of the nation’s food bowl."

The Daily Telegraph Editor said: “The timing couldn’t be better as city residents grow increasingly aware of the critical role the bush plays to all our welfare.”

With a list of major sponsors including Ampol, Optus and Origin Energy, the summit will deliver discussion on a range of issues such as food supply chains, jobs, energy, regional development, services and infrastructure.
