Nova Entertainment has appointed Jodie Williams music director for Nova in Sydney.

Williams joins the Nova Network from 949 Power FM in Nowra NSW, where she held the dual role of music director and announcer for over 12 months.

Previously she was music director and announcer at Zoo FM/2DU in Dubbo and prior to that Williams was held multiple roles, including announcer at 2LM/ZZZFM in Lismore.

Paul Jackson, Nova Entertainment’s group program director, said, “We're delighted to welcome Jodie to the Nova family. She joins a strong programming group around the country and I'm sure she'll be a great addition to the team.”

Williams replaces Josh McCabe, who is returning to Perth to take up the role of music director for Nova 93.7.

Reporting to Paul Jackson, Williams will work alongside Scott Baker-Smith, the Nova network’s head of music. She will commence in the role on Monday 22 May.
