Held last week at Oxford Art Factory, the event showcased seven emerging DJs from the advertising and media sector, all competing while raising funds for vulnerable youth.

Baterna, performing as DJ Sometimes Wholesome, took home the trophy, impressing judges with her technique, energy, and musical selection.

The judging panel featured Emma Richomme from Musicians Making a Difference (MMAD), Will Cate (DJ Goodwill), and Trent Grimes from TMRW Music Group.

Second place went to DJ Bangers & Mash, also known as Brent Richardson, CEO of Enrichd Group.

Third place was awarded to DJ Edgy, performed by Edward Ye, Programmatic Manager at Dentsu.

Other performers included DJs from The Trade Desk, Val Morgan, and EssenceMediacom.

The event, powered by Yahoo and sponsored by Snapchat, also featured brand activations including a glow-in-the-dark face painting station, photo booth, and refreshments provided by Guzman y Gomez and MOOD mocktails.

Club UnLtd aims to support young people in need through music, with UnLtd’s charity partner MMAD showcasing its ‘Futures’ radio station during the night via a silent disco experience.

The event opened with a set by MMAD’s Eric Crampton (DJ Crump$), who shared his personal story of transformation through music, and concluded with a performance by Julian Hamilton from The Presets.

Katie McArthur, Head of Events at UnLtd, said: “The crowd went wild for all the DJs and the dance floor was packed from start to end. Congratulations to all the finalist DJs for giving our guests a night to remember.”
