REA Group has appointed Ryan O'Hara to the board as a nominee of News Corp Australia, replacing Susan Panuccio who has stepped down immediately.

O'Hara is the chief executive of US online real-estate listings business Move, which is jointly owned by News Corp and REA. He was formerly president of content for Madison Square Garden Company and before that CEO of Topps, the US trading card company.

Panuccio was formerly CFO of News Corp Australia and was promoted to group CFO of News Corp earlier this year.
