Triple M last night hosted a birthday party for its AFL footy call, celebrating 21 years of what has been the #1 AFL call for all people under 50 since launch.

Two of the original call team members, Brian Taylor and Eddie McGuire, welcomed guests to the function at Greenfields in Albert Park.

Speakers included current team members James Brayshaw, Jason Dunstall, Billy Brownless, Chris Judd, Luke Darcy and Mark Howard.

Melbourne rock band Kinsgwood later performed three songs.

The guest list included Grant Blackley – CEO SCA, Brian Gallagher – head of sales, Andrea Salmon – Melb head of sales, Mike Fitzpatrick – head of content Triple M, Gemma Fordham – head of Hit Network, Shaun Gough – content director Triple M Melbourne, Nikki Clarkson – head of marketing and communication, Lee Simon – executive producer AFL and founding producer, Neroli Meadows, The Hot Breakfast’s Rosie Walton, Nathan Brown, AFL rights holders Crocmedia's Craig Hutchinson and Chris Giannopoulos, Simon Black and Richard Champion.
