Arrival scored eight Oscar nominations including Best Picture and Best Screenplay

The season 7 finale of Game Of Thrones attracted 572,000 customers at 11am for its first screening on the Monday morning, another 314,000 for the primetime repeat and 84,000 more for the Tuesday repeat. The next highest non-sport show in the top 50 was Sunday night’s Top Of The Lake: China Girl on BBC First.

Foxtel’s Sunday night movie premiere was last year’s Arrival with Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner. Other non-sport shows were on Discovery Channel and FOX8, while Sky Racing channel made a rare appearance in the top 50 with a live telecast of Chelmsford Stakes.
