Val Morgan Cinema confirms pre-show brand partners for F1 The Movie

American Express, Qatar Airways, Heineken®, and other major brands have secured national on-screen partnerships with F1 The Movie ahead of its Australian release.

Val Morgan Cinema has announced a slate of major pre-show partners for F1 The Movie, which debuts in Australian cinemas on 26 June 2025.

The line-up includes American Express, Qatar Airways, IWC Schaffhausen, Heineken®, Honda, Samsung Electronics Australia, Kayo Sports, AAMI, GIO and Audible. These brands have secured national on-screen partnerships tied to the film’s release.

About the film

F1 The Movie is an Apple Original Film produced by the team behind Top Gun: Maverick, with Brad Pitt in the lead role and Joseph Kosinski directing. The production team includes Jerry Bruckheimer, Kosinski, Lewis Hamilton, Brad Pitt, Jeremy Kleiner, Dede Gardner, and Chad Oma.

Guy Burbidge, Managing Director of Val Morgan Cinema, said interest from advertisers surged following the film's announcement and the strong public response to this year’s Formula 1 event in Melbourne.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to enable these brands to be part of a cultural moment in the making,” Burbidge said, “connecting with passionate and engaged Aussies at the intersection of sport, entertainment, and cinema.”

According to HOYTS, the film is already showing strong box office momentum, with F1 The Movie topping its list of most requested titles for private and corporate screenings so far this year.

“It’s a high-octane blockbuster built for the big screen,” added Burbidge. “and the next best thing to being trackside at a Formula 1 race.”

Val Morgan Cinema also highlighted a robust pipeline of theatrical releases for the second half of 2025, including Superman, Jurassic World: Rebirth, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Wicked: For Good, and Avatar: Fire and Ash.
