TV Ratings PARIS 2024 OLYMPIC GAMES

The 9Network’s TV ratings for Thursday's broadcast of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 (up until 2am AEST) secured a National Total TV Reach of 9.407 million across Channel 9, 9Gem and 9Now.

Olympic Games Paris 2024 Day 6 Night Session (7pm-9pm) was the No. 1 program across Australia with Total People and all key demos. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 3.954 million, a Total TV National Audience of 1.706 million and a BVOD audience of 219,000. In this session, viewers watched as Australian Jemima Montag won bronze in the Women’s 20km Race Walk.

Olympic Games Paris 2024 Day 6 Night Session 2 (9pm-10:30pm) secured the evening audience, winning its timeslot with Total People and all key demos across Australia. Audiences watching this session saw The Opals defeat Canada 70-65 in the Women’s Basketball, it registered a National Total TV Reach of 3.271 million, a Total TV National Audience of 1.229 million and a BVOD audience of 167,000.

Olympic Games Paris 2024 Day 6 Late (10:30pm-12am) dominated its timeslot across Australia with Total People and all key demos. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 2.212 million, a Total TV National Audience of 838,000 and a BVOD audience of 126,000. The broadcast featured the Australian men’s water polo team’s 9-8 victory against the French team in front of their home crowd.

The 9Network was the No. 1 network across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demos, soaring to massive shares of 61.42% with People 25-54, 69.76% with People 16-39, 49.29% with GS18+ and 50.79% with Total People.

9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform across Australia with Total People and all key demos, climbing to shares of 81.66% with People 25-54, 84.00% with People 16-39, 79.01% with GS18+ and 79.63% with Total People.
