JOY has been appointed to manage the media account of Picklebet, the Australian owned bookmakers.

Dan Wilkinson, head of user acquisition at Picklebet, praised the independent media and communications agency for its collaborative efforts with the brand and its current creative agency.

“JOY were a standout, understanding the creative strategy, working collaboratively with us and our creative agency partner on how this could be amplified and executed in non-traditional media, whilst creating value and differentiation,” he said.

Matt Keegan, Partner at JOY said “Right from the get-go, we felt Picklebet were a great fit for JOY given their deep belief in using creative thinking to challenge their industry.

“We are truly excited to work with Picklebet to grow their market share and business," he added.

Keegan joined the agency in May as a Partner alongside Philip Pollock to lead a new dedicated team that will put performance data and digital insight at the heart of JOY’s integrated service offering.

Pollock and Keegan are tasked with tooling-up data, technology, digital and performance capabilities across the agency’s people, systems and processes. They will also service existing client briefs and lead growth in the agency’s performance offering with new clients.
