Bauer Media appoints Lorna Gray as new editor of Cosmopolitan

Gray has been tasked with bringing a new approach to the brand’s content and operations.

Bauer Media has announced Lorna Gray has been appointed editor of Cosmopolitan, responsible for both the title’s print and online platforms.

Gray brings over 10 years experience in print and digital media, and has been tasked with bringing a new approach to the brand’s content and operations.

Fiorella Di Santo, GM of Publishing at Bauer, said, “We are so pleased to have promoted Lorna from within the business. She understands the Cosmopolitan brand and its audience. She will be responsible for continuing to build a strong brand identity across all channels be it on social, digital, events or in print.”

Sarah Belle Murphy, GM of Digital at Bauer, says “Over the last year, we have seen considerable growth to Bauer’s digital offering. As our digital platforms are an integral part of our business, Lorna’s extensive experience in digital, which includes her previous role as Senior Online Editor at Cosmopolitan, makes her the perfect fit for this role.”

Lorna Gray said “I’m thrilled to be taking on the role of editor for Cosmopolitan. COSMO is such an iconic brand with a clued-in community who are always looking for fresh, boundary-breaking content. I look forward to the challenge of reaching new audiences and continuing COSMO’s inimitable legacy with the talented team.”

Bauer reports that Cosmopolitan continues to grow as a brand, and in May reached a digital monthly unique audience of 544,438.
