Magazine Networks appoints Gereurd Roberts as chair

Magazine Networks has announced the appointment of Gereurd Roberts, CEO of Pacific Magazines, as the new chair of its board, effective immediately.
Magazine Networks is the industry body for Magazine Publishers and its members are Bauer Media, NewsLifeMedia and Pacific Magazines. The industry body has recently undergone a rebrand and a name change to better signify how magazines are multiplatform brands, with a network of engaged audiences across platforms.
Gereurd Roberts has been recently appointed CEO of Pacific Magazines and, as chairman of Magazine Networks, continues from Peter Zavecz, who has recently moved back to Melbourne with News Corp.
