Macquarie Radio Network has announced the appointment of Annick Perrin as head of agency sales, Sydney.

Perrin, who has more than 20 years experience in the media agency sector and is one of the industry’s most senior female leaders, was previously the managing director of media agency Starcom Sydney. In the new role, she will report to national agency sales director Nick Randall.

During her career, she has worked as managing director for Initiative and Ikon Communications.  She has also held senior roles with Carat, McCann-Erickson and Lintas.

In her new role at MRN, Perrin will be responsible for leading and growing the Sydney agency sales team to bring a further depth of talent and senior-level strategic thinking to the MRN agency team.

“We are thrilled to have someone the calibre of Annick join the MRN agency sales team. She brings a wealth of experience and leadership skills from the media agency sector and has worked closely with some of the country’s biggest advertisers. Annick’s long-standing client and agency team relationships are exceptional and she will be key to MRN growing its share of agency revenue,” Randall said.

Commenting on her appointment, Perrin said: "People who know me might say I'm a little competitive!  I'm going to put myself to the test in a new environment and I'm thrilled to be going to work with an experienced and creative team at Macquarie Radio Network.”

Perrin’s appointment is effective 7 December 2015.
