Nova Entertainment and Warner Music have announced At Sunset (pictured) as the winner of Nova’s Fresh Discovery.
Nova, Warner Music and Rumble joined forces to create Nova’s Fresh Discovery, a national search to discover the best unsigned talent in Australia. Judges were looking for cutting-edge, contemporary artists who had a vision and cared about their music and career.
Over the past three weeks over 1,500 artists uploaded their videos or attended the live auditions around the country.
At Sunset are a three-piece Adelaide pop-rock band comprising brothers Harrison and Andrew Kantarias and mate Tom J Williams. The boys performed “Every Little Thing” at the live Adelaide auditions.
Paul Jackson, Nova Entertainment group program director, said, “Nova’s Fresh Discovery was an outstanding success. We came across so many talented singer-songwriters that it was so hard to pick just one artist to win the competition. At Sunset stood out above the others with their infectious hooks and big anthemic choruses. These boys are stars in the making and we can’t wait to play them on Nova.”
At Sunset will be involved in a mentoring session with Ed Sheeran next week and will receive a recording deal with Warner Music.
