• Hit 105 takes top spot from Nova: Stav, Abby & Matt #1 at breakfast
• Nova 106.9 drops from #1 to #4 in a single survey, Nova breakfast #3
• Kate, Tim and Marty again #1 in drive, Kennedy Molloy improving

Biggest rise: 104.5 Triple M +1.1

Biggest fall: 4KQ -1.4

Hit 105 11.8%

With share steady just under 12%, the Hit Network Brisbane station is now #1 overall. The station has posted a recent high share of 11.8% three times this year. Stav, Abby and Matt have toppled Nova to be #1 breakfast on 13.1%, which is the station’s best breakfast share in some time. Morning and afternoon were up, yet drive was down 1.5 to 12.6% where Hughesy and Kate now trail Nova in the timeslot. Hit 105 pushed its already impressive mark-leading 18-24 share higher to 29.9%.

97.3 FM 11.6%

The station has slipped to its lowest share of 2018, yet 11.6% is still better then five of the eight surveys in 2017. The new look breakfast show with Bianca, Mike and Bob was down just 0.2 to 11.5%, which ranks it #4 in the market. Morning and afternoon were both up, while Will and Woody saw drive share dip 0.7 to 11.1%.

104.5 Triple M 11.6%

Marto, Robin and The Moonman were behind the growth here with their breakfast show up 1.6 to 12.7%, which is the trio’s best result. The 10+ share of 11.6% was also a recent high. The station highpoint is a share of 13.5% in afternoon, which includes hosts Joey Henderson and from 3pm the Brisbane Rush Hour show. Kennedy Molloy pushed drive share higher, +1.2 to 12.3%.

Nova 106.9 11.4%

Very unusual to see Nova ranking #4 10+ while the Ash, Kip and Luttsy with Susie O’Neill is #3 in breakfast. The overall share hasn’t been this low since survey 1, 2017 and the breakfast share was lower back in survey 2, 2018. In other words – don’t panic. Kate, Tim and Marty are the station’s #1 on 14.0% which is enough for them to rank #1 drive again.

4KQ 8.5%

After a massive survey three share of 9.9%, things have cooled a little. Breakfast with Laurel, Gary and Mark is down 1.2 to 7.0% which is their lowest in over two years.

4BC 5.3%

The station has been above 5% for four of the five surveys so far this year. Alan Jones in Brisbane is rating 6.4%, which is steady with survey four this year and close to where he has traded for most of 2018. Ray Hadley’s morning share was up 0.6 to 7.2%.

Macquarie Sports 882 1.0%

This is the highest share out of the three-station east coast network. Evening with Julian King has the biggest audience with 1.9% while drive is on 1.0% and breakfast on 0.9%.
