Stan Sport is expanding its football offering, securing streaming rights to both the 2025 Premier League Summer Series and Germany’s DFB-Pokal tournament.

The additions build on Stan’s growing list of domestic and international football rights ahead of its inaugural season as Australia’s home of the Premier League.

The move gives local fans broader access to global football coverage, with more competitions and matches now available in one place.

Premier League Summer Series

Starting Sunday, 27 July (AEST), Stan Sport will exclusively stream all matches of the Premier League Summer Series 2025, a pre-season tournament held in the United States.

This year’s series features Manchester United, Everton, West Ham United, and Bournemouth.

The opening match between Everton and Bournemouth will stream live on Saturday, 27 July from 6:00am AEST.

The series gives fans an early look at club form, new signings, and tactical shifts before the 2025/26 Premier League season officially begins on Saturday, 16 August (AEST).

Stan secured exclusive Premier League rights in Australia in June.

DFB-Pokal joins Stan Sport's growing European slate

Stan Sport has also added the DFB-Pokal to its coverage. The German knockout cup includes Bundesliga clubs and lower-tier teams, offering the kind of unpredictable matchups that have made it a fan favourite.

This addition further extends Stan’s European football content, which already includes the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, Conference League, FA Cup, and more.

“MORE FOOTBALL. MORE COMPS. ALL IN ONE PLACE,” Stan said in a release, as it continues to position itself as a one-stop platform for football fans in Australia.

Early season highlights and what's next

Two high-profile matches are also confirmed for August. The FA Community Shield will see Liverpool take on Crystal Palace on Sunday, 11 August (AEST), while the UEFA Super Cup pits Champions League winners PSG against Europa League champions Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday, 14 August (AEST).

All matches on Stan Sport are available live and on demand, with the Premier League to be offered in 4K Ultra HD for the first time in Australia.

Stan says more competitions will be announced soon, expanding what is already one of the most comprehensive football offerings in the local streaming market.
