Paramount+ is set to exclusively air original Australian series, Last King Of The Cross, from Friday, February 17.

Last King Of The Cross is an operatic story of two brothers, John (Lincoln Younes) and Sam Ibrahim (Claude Jabbour), who organise the street but lose each other in their ascent to power.

Inspired by John Ibrahim’s autobiography of the same name, the 10-part serialised drama tracks John’s rise from a poverty-stricken immigrant with no education, no money, and no prospects, to Australia’s most infamous nightclub mogul in Sydney’s Kings Cross - a mini-Atlantic City, barely half a mile long with every form of criminality on offer.

Joining the previously announced Lincoln Younes (as John Ibrahim) and Ian McShane (as Ezra Shipman) are Callan Mulvey (300: Rise Of An Empire, Outlaw King), Tess Haubrich (Spiderhead, Alien: Covenant), Claude Jabbour (Eden, Stateless), Maria Tran (truy Sat, Echo 8), Matt Nable (Riddick, Bikie Wars: Brothers In Arms) and Damian Walshe-Howling (Underbelly, Janet King).

Adding to the local star-power, two celebrated Australian award-winning musicians, singer-songwriter Kate Miller-Heidke and Northlane frontman Marcus Bridge, have collaborated to re-reimagine Miller-Heidke’s multi-platinum hit The Last Day On Earth for the series. The Last Day On Earth (feat. Marcus Bridge) will be released via EMI Music Australia on January 19.

Last King of The Cross joins a host of TV series on Paramount+, including Tulsa King, The Almond And The Seahorse, 1923, Top Gun: Maverick, The Flatshare, George & Tammy, Transformers: Earthspark, 1883, Let The Right One In, Monarch, The Bridge Australia, Secret Headquarters, Five Bedrooms, The Offer, The Man Who Fell To Earth, HALO, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and iCarly, with Mayor Of Kingstown (season two), Lioness, Teen Wolf: The Movie, Wolf Pack, At Midnight, and Yellowjackets (season two) streaming soon.
