Subscription TV Chart Week 14 2017
Foxtel’s dedicated NRL channel Fox League had Week 14’s #1 show but the AFL channel Fox Footy had the most entries in the top 50.
Old favourites Gogglebox Australia and Selling Houses Australia on Lifestyle and Real Housewives of Sydney on Arena were still the top non-sport shows in the top 50. In week 14 they were joined by season premieres of two popular scripted series that have demonstrated their staying power in their earlier seasons.
The season 5 premiere of Australian prison drama Wentworth on showcase channel landed at #34. FX channel’s season 8 premiere of US behemoth The Walking Dead charted twice in the top 50, #39 for the first screening fast-tracked from the US at 1:30pm on the Monday and #43 for the primetime repeat at 7:30pm the same day.
