Stan today has announced that Emmy Award-winning TV host and entertainment reporter Renee Bargh has joined Stan as its newest ambassador.

Renee has established a name for herself as a host in the entertainment industry. As correspondent and weekend co-host of Extra, she has interviewed countless A-listers and Hollywood superstars, including: Brad Pitt, John Travolta, Bon Jovi, Nicole Kidman, Johnny Depp, Cameron Diaz and Usher.

Renee has also covered major events in Hollywood, including the Academy Awards and the Golden Globes, among others. Renee joined Extra in late 2010 and will be continuing on in her role for the show's 20th season from Australia.

With Australia quickly becoming the new home for Hollywood names, and with Stan as Australia’s home of original productions, Renee will have access to all the stars of Stan’s biggest shows and films. The current slate of Stan Original productions includes: the Stan Original Series The Tourist, which is currently in production in South Australia and stars Jamie Dornan, the recently announced Stan Original Series Wolf Like Me which stars Isla Fisher and Josh Gad and the Stan Original Film Gold, which has wrapped filming and stars Zac Efron.

Renee Bargh said: “After living and breathing TV and entertainment from across the globe, it’s an honour to be back home in Australia working with Stan. Stan has an incredible slate of both local and international content, and I’m excited to be interviewing some of the big names and Stan favourites for their Australian fans."

Renee will make her first appearance tonight as an official ambassador on Stan’s Blue Carpet at the world premiere of the Stan Original Series RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under

The queens who will be racing down the Drag Race Down Under runway soon are: Anita Wigl’it (Auckland, NZ), Art Simone (Geelong, VIC), Coco Jumbo (Sydney, NSW), Elektra Shock (Auckland, NZ), Etcetera Etcetera (Sydney, NSW), JoJo Zaho (Newcastle, NSW), Karen from Finance (Melbourne, VIC), Kita Mean (Auckland, NZ), Maxi Shield (Sydney, NSW) and Scarlet Adams (Perth, WA).
