The HSBC Sevens World Series kicks off today (Friday December 2), when Dubai hosts the season opening event over two jam-packed days.

Fox Sports will be the only place to watch the action unfold, with live, ad-break free during play and HD coverage of both the men’s and women’s competitions.

The Aussie men return to Dubai looking to improve on last year’s Plate Final finish, while the reigning world champion Aussie women return to defend their crown, boosted by their recent gold medal-winning performance in Rio.

The voice of Australian rugby, Greg Clark, and Fox Sports commentator Sean Maloney will call Fox Sports live and exclusive coverage, beginning at 3.50pm EDT on Friday and 4.20pm EDT on Saturday.

Fox Sports will follow the Aussie men throughout all 10 legs of the series, with events in Sydney, Wellington, Cape Town, Singapore, Paris and London.

Attention turns to the women’s competition from 11pm EDT on Friday, with highlights from Day 1, plus live, ad-break free during play and HD coverage of the Challenge Final, Bronze Medal and Gold Medal matches.
